About The Position

Drive dedicated round trips for one retail customer. Drivers load at the distribution center, deliver to stores across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, and return to the distribution center. Routes are planned to take drivers home as often as possible, with home time every week. The account involves driving in New York City and New Jersey and includes weekend and holiday work. Shifts may be during the day or night. Pay is $0.85 to $0.90 per mile, with about 2,100 miles per week and an additional $75 for each delivery inside the five boroughs. Training pays $850 per week for 3 to 5 weeks (200 to 250 hours), after which drivers operate solo on dedicated routes. Pay is weekly. New CDL holders may apply with a truck driving school CDL-A certificate of at least 120 hours.

Requirements

Completed CDL-A training at a truck driving school, with a minimum of 120 hours.
Class A CDL issued by the driver's state of residence.
Must be 21 or older.
No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.
Pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Load at the distribution center and deliver retail goods to stores across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
Drive dedicated round trips and return to the distribution center.
