About The Position

Dedicated solo driver seats are available on a high-volume account out of Joliet, IL. This position is built to reward drivers with top-tier earnings and continuous freight. Drivers will operate on regional routes spanning IL, WI, IN, MI, IA, and KY, averaging 800–1,000 miles weekly. The freight is 100% touch freight, box-by-box unloads using rollers. Training includes a 2-day paid ride-along ($150/day) pulling International and Freightliner equipment. Drivers can expect dependable weekly home time for a 34-hour reset, though weekends are not guaranteed. Availability is required Sunday through Saturday, with flexible workdays depending on deliveries near home.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of commercial driving experience acquired over the last 3 years (within the past 36 months).
Patience.
Customer service capability.
Physical stamina for stacked freight unloads.
Clean results from strict hair follicle and urine drug screenings.

Responsibilities

Operate regional routes spanning IL, WI, IN, MI, IA, and KY.
Complete 100% touch freight box-by-box unloads using rollers.
Complete a 34-hour reset weekly for home time.
Be available Sunday through Saturday.
Participate in a 2-day paid ride-along for training.

Benefits

Weekly Average: $1,500 to $1,700 (top earners hit $2,000+/wk; $75k–$100k yearly).
Pay Breakdown: Up to $1.80 per mile all-in pay. Base CPM from $0.82 to $0.85 (based on experience), $245 per unloaded trailer, $70 backhaul pay, $25 stop pay.
Sign-on bonus: $2,500 paid across 180 days ($250 1st load, $250 at 30/60 days, $500 at 90 days, $250 at 120/150 days, $750 at 180 days).
Weekly home time for a 34-hour reset.
