About The Position

NIS Express is hiring drivers for a dedicated grocery account in Southwest Florida, based near Cape Coral. Drivers deliver refrigerated grocery loads to retail stores on local night-shift runs and return home every day, with no nights spent in the truck. The account offers a steady routine of two runs per shift for the same customer and stores, with a predictable schedule of Thursday through Monday or Friday through Tuesday. New CDL graduates are welcome and receive paid training; experienced drivers are also welcome.

Compensation includes $650 per week during paid training, $0.43 to $0.51 per mile for approximately 2,200 miles per week, and an average weekly gross of $1,300. Drivers also receive $10 per stop, $30 for loads under 90 miles, and a monthly performance bonus. The role requires working holiday nights as the store schedule requires.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Graduate from a verifiable CDL school with 120 or more hours of training.
• Live within 25 miles of Punta Gorda, Florida.
• Have no more than two moving violations in the past two years.
• Have no major preventable accidents in the past five years.
• Have no DUI/DWI in the past five to ten years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.
