About The Position
This local dedicated driving position is based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with deliveries to locations throughout Virginia and Maryland. Drivers average 1,300 miles per week and return home daily. The schedule is five days per week, including weekends, with two consecutive days off each week. Typical shifts are 12–14 hours, with start times between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. The role involves dedicated touch freight. Drivers load and unload 53-foot trailers using an electric pallet jack and reload returns for transport back to the distribution center. Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- At least 3 months of recent, verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Reliable personal vehicle for daily commuting to the Fredericksburg facility.
- Ability and willingness to work night shifts and weekend schedules.
