About The Position
We are hiring a dedicated Local Class A CDL Driver based within 50 miles of Wytheville, VA. The position operates dedicated local routes within a 250-mile radius of Wytheville, VA, with daily home time and modern day-cab equipment operated on a slip-seat basis. This is a full-time W-2 employee position with year-round local freight. There are two schedule options. The night dedicated schedule runs Monday through Friday, with a 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM start time, and pays $0.54 per mile plus $15.00 per drop. The day dedicated schedule runs Monday through Friday, starts at 7:00 AM, and is mainly daytime work with flexibility required; it pays $0.50 per mile. Both options offer an additional $0.03 per mile monthly performance bonus.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Must reside within 50 miles of Wytheville, VA.
- Must be flexible with morning start times for day shifts.
- Clean MVR and valid DOT Medical Card.
