About The Position
J Rose Logistics is hiring a local Class A CDL Driver for a home-daily route based out of Hagerstown, Maryland. The driver runs from Hagerstown to stores for various customers and returns to Hagerstown. Stores are within 250 miles of Hagerstown. Dispatches are at night, and drivers get home daily, with weekends off for 36 to 48 hours. Weekly pay is $1,150 to $1,175, with a guaranteed weekly amount as long as the driver is available to work. The work involves dry van, drop-and-hook, no-touch freight. Detention and breakdown pay is $16 per hour. Paid orientation and training are provided. J Rose Logistics provides expedited freight transportation services for critical loads throughout the continental United States. Requirements
- Class A CDL.
- At least 12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience; experience must be semi-recent.
- Must live within 25 miles of Hagerstown.
- Drivers with SAP are not accepted.
- Accidents, tickets, and similar driving history are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- No DUI within the last 5 years.
- No felonies within the last 10 years.
Responsibilities
- Drive from Hagerstown, Maryland, to stores for various customers and return to Hagerstown.
- Complete night dispatches on routes serving stores within 250 miles of Hagerstown.
- Handle dry van, drop-and-hook, no-touch freight.
