About The Position

This fleet hires new CDL-A holders and provides 4 to 6 weeks of paid, on-the-road training with an experienced trainer at $650 per week. After training, drivers move directly to full driver pay and receive a guaranteed minimum of $1,000 per week for their first three months driving solo. Average weekly gross pay is about $1,200, with approximately 2,100 miles per week and performance bonuses. Drivers haul temperature-controlled freight across the Southeast and Midwest, including live loads and live unloads. Home time is every two weeks. Riders and pets are permitted after training. The company pays $300 for orientation and covers travel. Health, dental, and vision benefits begin after 30 days.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Have at least 120 hours of training at an accredited CDL school; no prior experience is required for new CDL holders.
• Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12 or more months in the past 5 years.
• Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Have no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Have no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Handle live loads and live unloads.
• Travel routes across the Southeast and Midwest, including IN, KY, TN, OH, AL, MS, NC, SC, VA, and FL.
