Cath Lab Technician, CVRT - Cardiac Cath

About The Position
Under the general direction of a physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), the Cath Lab Technician assists with procedures by scrubbing or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. The role helps prepare the procedure room, monitors instrument and supply levels, participates in staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and helps train new staff. The technician assists with invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT-R and state-required license, or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be kept current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring.
