About The Position

Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking a dependable, energetic, and guest-focused event-based part-time Server Assistant to join our Premium Catering team. This event-based, part-time role supports servers by preparing dining areas, assisting with food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean, organized environment to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in hospitality, catering, hotels, clubs, restaurants, or premium dining environments preferred.
Previous stadium, arena, banquet, or fine dining experience is a plus.
Valid TABC Certification and ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
Strong customer service, communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

Assist with dining room setup, including tables, linens, silverware, glassware, condiments, and service stations.
Support servers by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and assisting with meal service.
Bus, clean, sanitize, and reset tables throughout events while maintaining a polished dining environment.
Replenish server stations with necessary supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
Greet guests with professionalism, answer questions, accommodate special requests, and deliver exceptional hospitality.
Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service.
Maintain proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures while following HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Follow all company workplace safety policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
