Catering Server
About The Position
Join our team as a flex (on-call) Catering Server at The Grandview by Erickson Senior Living. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our residents and employees during on-site catering and banquet events. We offer flexible shifts, including short shifts, weekends, and no late nights. Compensation is commensurate with experience, ranging from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. The Grandview is a vibrant continuing care retirement community located on 33 acres in North Bethesda, Maryland, and is part of Erickson Senior Living, a respected provider of senior living and health care. Requirements
- Meet the state’s age requirement for serving alcohol
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods to become a subject matter expert
- Enhance resident and guest engagement by sharing daily menu highlights and suggesting recommendations that are tailored to their preferences
- Record food and beverage orders with precision and accuracy
- Deliver an exceptional dining experience consistently
