About The Position

Midas Hospitality is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our team at the Hotel Canandaigua. This person will be responsible for selling, planning and coordinating small meetings as well as catering only functions.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in the F&B Division of a hotel.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of the catering, food and beverage, menu development and pricing.
  • Ability to drive to outside sales calls.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business.
  • Plan, upsell and detail the meeting/function with the client including.
  • Complete the contracts, prepare the appropriate paperwork, including banquet event orders.
  • Participate in communication and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and promote sales.
  • Provide Catering support to Sales Managers and DOS in the form of detailing and coordination of events once the Client/Group is contracted. This would include accurate and detailed creation of client banquet event orders
