Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or event management, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets and build lasting client relationships
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with event management and software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-4 years of experience in catering sales or event coordination preferred
  • Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting strongly preferred
  • Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality’s standards are critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Soliciting, booking, planning, and coordinating group rooms, meetings, and events.
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maximizing banquet space utilization.
  • Exceeding revenue goals while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Secure new and repeat business through outside sales calls, networking, and marketing efforts.
  • Maximize banquet space utilization to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute territorial marketing strategies to drive group and event bookings.
  • Plan and detail meetings and functions, including space, menus, equipment, and décor.
  • Complete contracts, prepare paperwork, and coordinate with hotel departments.
  • Resolve client concerns and ensure high quality service delivery.
  • Lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and communicate group requirements to staff.
  • Manage billing, payment methods, and financial oversight for group events.
  • Stay informed on hotel procedures, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
  • Represent the hotel at professional events and maintain high visibility in the market.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
