The sales manager will be able to develop and execute a strategic plan with emphasis on catering event revenue production for corporate and social events. A significant factor for success will rely on strategic solicitation of new profitable business. The catering sales manager will merchandise as skillfully as possible the event space to maximize revenue potential for the hotel and to ensure that the customer has the best possible meeting/event experience. The catering sales manager will achieve monthly catering goals, develop, and implement sales action plans, maintain positive interdepartmental communications and to complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Catering & Convention Services.
