About The Position

Fuku is a growing fast-casual restaurant brand seeking an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven Catering & Events Sales Manager to build and grow its catering business across South Florida. This role involves sales, catering program management, and market activation. The ideal candidate will develop new business, strengthen community partnerships, improve the catering program, and collaborate with Operations, Brand, and restaurant leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Success requires curiosity, persistence, hospitality, and execution. This is a remote position based in the South Florida region, prioritizing candidates in the Miami metropolitan area or surrounding communities. Regular travel is required between Fuku restaurant locations in Coral Gables and West Palm Beach, as well as to client meetings, events, and catering events.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, restaurant sales, event sales, or a related commercial role.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue, developing new business, and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience improving programs, processes, or operational systems within a growing organization is highly valued.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Brand/Marketing, Finance, and restaurant leadership.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to create opportunities rather than wait for them.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth, operational execution, and guest experience.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and restaurant technology.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with the ability to travel regularly between Coral Gables, West Palm Beach, and throughout South Florida.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Toast Catering & Events is preferred.
  • Existing relationships throughout the South Florida business community are a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the growth of Fuku's catering business across South Florida by creating opportunities, building lasting relationships, and delivering meaningful revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan that expands Fuku's presence throughout South Florida.
  • Build a healthy pipeline of new catering or event opportunities through relationship building, networking, referrals, community engagement, tastings, local events, and proactive outreach.
  • Guide customers through the full sales journey, from initial conversation through proposal, booking, execution, follow-up, and repeat business.
  • Develop long-term relationships with corporate clients, healthcare organizations, schools, hotels, residential communities, event planners, production companies, and other local partners.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Own the day-to-day coordination and continuous improvement of Fuku's catering program, helping establish processes that support long-term growth.
  • Partner with Operations and external partners to optimize catering systems, workflows, Toast Catering & Events, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and improve catering resources, SOPs, reporting, and operational tools.
  • Collaborate with restaurant leadership, brand and ops to evolve catering menus, packages, pricing recommendations, and execution standards.
  • Partner with Brand to support local marketing initiatives, tastings, sponsorships, community partnerships, and activations.
  • Represent Fuku throughout the South Florida market, building authentic relationships.
  • Share customer insights and market feedback to Marketing to help inform future campaigns, partnerships, and catering offerings.
  • Work closely with General Managers to align catering opportunities with restaurant capacity and ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate across Operations, Brand, Finance, and restaurant teams to ensure a seamless experience from inquiry through fulfillment.
