Sales & Business Development Generate new catering and event business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community outreach. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, hotels, local businesses, and community organizations. Respond promptly to inquiries and prepare customized proposals and contracts. Conduct venue tours and client consultations. Negotiate pricing, menus, and event details while maximizing profitability. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Event Planning & Coordination Manage events from initial inquiry through execution and post-event follow-up. Coordinate with culinary, operations, and service teams to ensure successful event execution. Prepare event orders, banquet event orders (BEOs), timelines, and logistics plans. Ensure all client requirements, dietary restrictions, and special requests are communicated accurately. Attend events as needed to ensure client satisfaction. Client Relations Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business. Maintain consistent communication throughout the planning process. Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Conduct post-event follow-ups and solicit feedback. Financial Management Monitor event profitability and ensure pricing aligns with company objectives. Manage deposits, contracts, billing, and event reconciliation. Track sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics. Prepare regular sales reports and revenue projections. Marketing & Promotion Collaborate with marketing teams to promote catering and event services. Participate in networking events, trade shows, bridal expos, and community events. Utilize social media and digital platforms to generate leads and promote offerings.
