Catering Driver & Prep Cook
About The Position
This role is a blend of driving and kitchen tasks, responsible for transporting prepared food and catering equipment safely between the company's kitchen and venues. The position involves loading, unloading, and setting up for events, as well as assisting with food preparation and execution of on-site food service. It requires adherence to food safety standards and collaboration with culinary and event teams. Post-service duties include breakdown, dishwashing, and cleaning. The role also involves returning the vehicle and equipment at the end of the shift. This position offers an opportunity for individuals interested in food to gain experience, with potential pathways to becoming a cook or kitchen lead. The job requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be 21 or older and pass MVR review
- 2+ years verifiable experience driving a similar commercial vehicle
- Comfortable lifting and transporting food and supplies

Responsibilities
- Drive prepared food and catering equipment safely between our kitchen and our venue
- Load, unload, and set up so events run without a hitch
- Jump into food prep and kitchen support alongside the service team
- Help execute food service on-site with an eye for guest experience and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work hand-in-hand with culinary and event teams to pull off great events
- Handle post-service breakdown: dishes, cleaning, the works
- Return the vehicle and equipment at the end of your shift, ready for the next one
