About The Position

Wedgewood Weddings & Events is looking for a Catering Driver & Prep Cook to support our culinary team by ensuring seamless food deliveries and assisting with kitchen operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being on the move, we want to hear from you! This role involves safely transporting prepared food and catering equipment between venues, assisting with food preparation and plating, executing food service during events, and supporting kitchen operations after service. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with culinary and event teams to deliver exceptional event experiences and uphold food safety standards.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience driving a similar type of commercial vehicle.
• Must successfully pass all required background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record (MVR) reviews.
• Ability to lift and transport food and supplies safely.
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food service, catering, or kitchen prep is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport prepared food and catering equipment between venues using a company vehicle.
• Load, unload, and set up catering items to support seamless wedding and event execution.
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and kitchen support to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule.
• Execute food service during events while maintaining high standards of guest service and presentation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures to uphold quality and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with culinary and event teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.
• Support kitchen operations after service, including dishwashing, cleaning, and breakdown duties.
• Return the catering vehicle and equipment to the designated location at the end of each shift.
