About The Position

The Catering Director is responsible for catering and events, managing a team of staff, building client relationships, and ensuring that catering services are of outstanding quality. The role oversees internal and external events, develops the catering marketing plan and event-planning services, and ensures successful event operations, including cost control, food preparation, transportation, setup, service, and cleanup.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts.
At least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 2 years in management.
Experience booking events, selecting and costing menu items, pricing contracts, and sourcing temporary help and equipment.
Ability to supervise food preparation, service, and cleanup.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee internal and external catering events.

Hire, train, and schedule catering staff.
