About The Position

Meals Now is seeking a high-standard independent contractor to deliver catering orders in Ashtabula, Ohio. The role focuses exclusively on catering delivery, not fast food, grocery delivery, or stacking other gig work. Drivers pick up large orders from restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at locations such as office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues, and represent Meals Now and its restaurant partners professionally. Compensation is per delivery, with a minimum of $25, and payment is made the next day via Gig safe.

Requirements

• Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes and scooters are not accepted.
• Have a catering bag or XXXL hot bags.
• Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Have a smartphone with internet/data access.
• Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts; listed business hours are 8:00 AM–11:00 PM EST.
• Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not accepted.
• Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
• Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in the work.

Responsibilities

• Pick up large catering orders from restaurant partners.
• Deliver and set up food in office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues.
• Represent Meals Now and the restaurant with professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy.
• Follow delivery instructions precisely and carefully.
• Take clean setup photos at drop-off.
