Responsible for pre-production and preparation of buffet and snack bar menu items according to established recipes, preparation techniques, procedures and daily production requirements. Follows all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures. Requires knowledge, skills, and experience in accurately utilizing various kitchen production equipment including ovens, broilers, fryers, kettles, etc. Must have decision-making, problem solving, and complaint resolution skills. Ensures production facilities and work stations are maintained in a clean and functional manner. Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty. Promotes outstanding customer relations. Must be knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, and inventory control policies, practices, and protocols. Notifies appropriate staff members when assistance is needed. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols. Performs other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
