CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a full-time Catering Attendant in Mountain View, California. The position delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and ensures events are executed accurately. Duties may include driving a catering delivery truck. The attendant sets up and serves functions, cleans event areas during and after events, breaks down setups, leaves areas neat and clean, and returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. Weekend availability is required, although most weekends are off. The pay range is $22.95 to $23.64 per hour. Free shift meals are offered. One to two years of catering experience is required. The position is located at 700 East Middlefield Road, Mountain View, CA 94043. A valid driver’s license may be required. The employee must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Thoroughly clean the location after each event.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
