About The Position

The Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and helps ensure events are accurately executed during the shift. The role may include driving a catering delivery truck. Duties include setting up and serving at functions, cleaning event areas during and after events, breaking down setups, and returning leftover food and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.

The position is full time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at 998 Logan Avenue N, Renton, WA 98057. The fixed pay rate is $22.85 per hour. Food service experience is required. A valid driver's license may be required, and the employee must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.

Requirements

• Food service experience required.
• A valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Arrange tables and decorations.
• Arrange buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Clean the location thoroughly after an event.
• Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
• Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
• Provide guests with friendly, courteous service.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
