About The Position

Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels. This role involves assisting the kitchen with food and beverage preparation and presentation, providing friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment, operating the till, and collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations while adhering to hygiene standards and proper food handling practices. Additionally, this role may involve driving and delivering supplies.

Requirements

• Experience in a premium buffet environment
• Ability to handle and serve food safely
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and presentation
• Ability to work effectively as part of a large service and kitchen team
• Strong time-management skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy boxes
• Must hold a clean and valid driver's licence
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Have I'm Alert and Food Safe training
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
• Being flexible to handle diverse tasks
