About The Position

This role involves loading sheets onto a stacker on a folding machine, inspecting and replacing defective folded inserts/outserts, and maintaining proper counts. The position also requires making inner trays and outer boxes for finished products, performing in-process quality checks, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), completing paperwork, preparing and applying shipping labels, and placing boxes on pallets. Additionally, the role includes assisting technicians with troubleshooting, using a computer to record order status and work quality, and maintaining a neat and orderly work area in accordance with housekeeping and safety requirements. Other duties within the finishing department may also be assigned.

Responsibilities

Loads sheets onto stacker on folding machine.
Removes and inspects folded inserts/outserts from machine. Replaces defective product and maintains proper counts.
Makes inner trays and outer boxes to pack finished products.
Performs in process quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Follows GMPs and completes all related paperwork.
Prepares shipping labels and applies to outer cartons. Places boxes on pallets.
Assists technician in troubleshooting mechanical problems as needed.
Uses computer to record status of orders and quality of work completed.
Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with housekeeping and safety requirements.
Other duties as assigned within the finishing department.
