About The Position
The Press/Finishing Feeder/Catcher tends to various printing and finishing machines that transforms paperboard into various consumer packaging products. They understand and align business operations as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives. Graphic Packaging International produces paper cups, packaging for craft beer, and microwave trays. They are one of the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper-based packaging for well-known brands in the food, beverage, foodservice, household, personal care, and pet product industries. Requirements
- Must be a GPI employee to apply through the Employee Login.
Responsibilities
- Feeds cartons into gluers, formers and windower
- Picks up cartons from delivery table and stacks it on skid or into cases according to packing specs
- Check cartons for quality
- Uses taper
- Operate carton packer
- Operate strapper and wrapper on WIP and finished product
