About The Position
The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable, responsible cat lovers to provide in-home cat sitting visits for clients in the Snellville, Georgia area. This flexible, part-time independent contractor role lets sitters set their availability and service area, with the company matching them with clients. Sitters care for cats while their owners are away and may build relationships with repeat clients. Services include drop-in visits of 30, 45, or 60 minutes, extended daytime visits of 2–8 hours, overnight stays of 10 hours, and 24-hour live-in care. Visits may involve feeding cats, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, providing playtime or companionship, sending updates and photos through an app, following detailed care instructions, bringing in mail or packages, and adjusting lights, blinds, or trash and recycling as requested. Medication may be administered when it is within the sitter’s experience and comfort level. Sitters are paid per visit, with rates typically starting around $20 per 30-minute visit and higher pay for longer visits, overnight care, and house sitting. Weekly direct deposit is provided, along with bonus opportunities for holidays, short-notice visits, and strong feedback. Sitters keep 100% of tips.
Requirements
- Experience with cat care, especially in a pet-sitting capacity.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Comfort working independently in clients’ homes.
- A smartphone with reliable internet access and a camera.

- Medication experience, including oral medications, injections, or fluids.

Responsibilities
