About The Position

The Comforted Kitty is seeking reliable, responsible cat lovers to provide in-home cat sitting visits for clients in the Atlanta, GA metro area. Sitters work independently as part-time contractors, set their own availability and service area, and are matched with clients. The role involves caring for cats while their owners are away and helping build trust with repeat clients. Service options include drop-in visits of 30, 45, or 60 minutes (one to three times daily), extended daytime visits of 2–8 hours, overnight stays of 10 hours, and 24-hour live-in care with overnight care. Sitters are paid per visit; rates typically start around $20 per 30-minute visit, with higher pay for longer visits, overnight care, and house sitting. The company offers weekly direct deposit, bonus opportunities, and sitters keep all tips.

Requirements

Experience caring for cats, especially in a pet-sitting capacity.
Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Strong written communication skills.
Comfort working independently in clients’ homes.
A smartphone with reliable internet access and a camera.

Nice To Haves

Medication experience, including oral medications, injections, or fluids.
Availability on weekends and holidays, as well as mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

Feed cats and refresh their water.
Clean litter boxes.
Provide playtime, affection, or companionship according to each cat’s personality.
Send visit updates and photos through the company app.
Follow each client’s detailed care instructions.
Bring in mail or packages when requested.
Adjust lights or blinds and handle trash or recycling when requested.
Administer medication when it is within the sitter’s experience and comfort level.
