About The Position

The CAT Scan Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures while exercising professional judgment to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The role requires maintaining standards consistent with medical ethics and organizational values, delivering safe and appropriate care to all patient populations, and working independently in the provision of services. The position is based at Paoli Hospital – Main Line Health and is full-time and benefits eligible. The rotating schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with one weekend requirement per month and holiday requirements. New radiologic technology graduates are welcome, and training is available.

Requirements

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• IV certification, or the ability to obtain it by the end of onboarding or training.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of recent CT experience preferred.
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Open to new radiologic technology graduates; training is available.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Verify patient clinical history and ensure accuracy of imaging orders.
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
• Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Work independently and collaborate effectively with the care team.
