About The Position
Catholic Early EdCare is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible Casual Educators to join our growing team across OSHC, Long Day Care, and Kindergarten services throughout Inner North suburbs, Brisbane North, and the Moreton Bay region. With over 130 services across Southeast Queensland, this is a fantastic opportunity for educators seeking flexible work, variety in their day-to-day, and the chance to make a real difference in children's lives. We're particularly keen to hear from educators who are available Tuesday to Thursday, as these are our busiest days across our services. Requirements
- Currently studying towards or holding a Children’s Services qualification and/or Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised by ACECQA) - or show a willingness to study.
- Current Paid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Willingness to obtain first aid and child protection certifications as required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Ability and willingness to travel between services when required.
Responsibilities
- Supporting children in fun, engaging before and after school care environments for OSHC.
- Assisting across Long Day Care and Kindy settings.
- Creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces where every child feels valued.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Bringing energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every shift.
- Enjoying variety by working across different services and communities.
- Participating in exciting activities day-to-day and during vacation care programs.
