St Peter Chanel Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is seeking enthusiastic and caring Educators to join our welcoming team. Operating Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, we provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for educators who enjoy building positive relationships, bringing creativity to their work, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. As an OSHC Educator, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to participate. You'll work collaboratively with a supportive team to deliver engaging experiences that encourage creativity, confidence, wellbeing, and fun.

Requirements

Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive, reliable, and proactive approach
Ability to create engaging experiences that are fun, inclusive, and child-focused
Current completion of, or willingness to complete, mandatory National Child Safety Training (Gecko Learning)
Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Nice To Haves

Experience working with school-aged children in an OSHC, education, recreation, or care setting

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and supervision for school-aged children
Deliver engaging play-based experiences that reflect children's interests and strengths
Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Support the day-to-day operations of the service
Contribute to programming, activities, and special events
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
Maintain compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and service standards
