Requirements

• Certificate III in Children’s Services or working towards (ACECQA recognised)
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Understanding of early childhood legislation, standards, and quality frameworks
• A genuine passion for supporting children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten in a play-based learning setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to complete Child Protection Training
• Current First aid and CPR Certificate

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and educational activities that support children’s wellbeing
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
• Promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare’s philosophy and values
• Participate in ongoing professional development
• Foster a lifelong love of learning in children
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families, educators, and the wider community
