About The Position

The Physical Therapy Aide assists professional staff with patient care and treatment in accordance with the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Practice Act. The role also provides day-to-day upkeep and operational support for the physical therapy department. The aide supports patient care activities as assigned under the direction of department leadership, helps maintain supplies and clean equipment and treatment spaces after patient use, coordinates with professional staff and leadership to allocate tasks as departmental workflows change, and performs clerical duties as assigned. Employees must follow applicable ethical, legal, privacy, and information-security standards, including HIPAA and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• American Heart Association CPR.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Internet email software.

Responsibilities
