About The Position

Goodstart is seeking a flexible, team-oriented Casual Educator to support its Hoppers Crossing Deloraine Drive centre and other local services as needed. The educator will help provide children with enriching, responsive learning experiences in a safe and inclusive environment. Shifts are available Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:30pm. The role requires flexibility to travel between local services and a commitment to children’s safety, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Requirements

• Hold an ACECQA-approved early childhood qualification; the posting identifies Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent.
• Hold a current Working with Children Check.
• Be willing to travel between local services.
• Have flexible availability Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 6:30pm.
• Have or obtain a valid Working with Children Check and complete the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the education program in the room and as part of the centre team.
• Engage with and supervise children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Support reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
