About The Position

This is a competition for Casual Educational Assistants (CUPE 2745 position) with Anglophone West School District. Whereas the nature of an Educational Assistant requires timely deployment to work on short-notice, it is expected that those named to our supply list will live within ASD-W boundaries and a reasonable proximity to selected schools. If applying from an address outside of ASD-W, please describe in your application how you would meet these expectations.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school supplemented by completion of an approved training course related to the field of work, and experience or demonstrated ability in dealing with children; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Specific training, deemed essential by the Employer to meet the special needs of the student(s), may also be required.

• Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check - no more than 6 months old
