About The Position

This application is for individuals interested in working as a Casual Bus Driver in the Woodstock Education Centre area, which includes Woodstock, Florenceville, Perth-Andover, Grand Falls, Edmundston, and surrounding areas. Applicants must be available to attend a mandatory summer training course from August 24-28, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM daily. Due to the nature of the role requiring timely deployment on short notice, applicants are expected to reside within the Woodstock Education Centre boundaries and in reasonable proximity to selected schools/bus routes. Priority will be given to those residing in the Upper River Valley area. Applicants from outside these areas must explain how they will meet these expectations. Failure to submit all required documents will result in withdrawal from the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Availability for summer training course: August 24-28, 2026, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM daily.
  • Residency within Woodstock Education Centre boundaries and reasonable proximity to schools/bus routes.

  • Three references with name and email address, including one supervisory reference.
  • Abstract of Driving Record (no more than 1 year old).
  • Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check included, no more than 6 months old).
