Casual Bartender
About The Position
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is seeking applications from prospective candidates to join their organization as a casual Bartender at Cowichan Lake Recreation within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Coordinator, the Bartender performs bartending duties in all Cowichan Lake Recreation facilities. The role ensures patron satisfaction by providing the best service possible, stores, prepares, handles, and serves all alcohol and non-alcohol related products, stocks the bar, performs cashiering, washes dishes, and ensures an organized, clean service environment.
Requirements
- Secondary School Graduation and a course in Mixology, or a combination of education and experience
- Bartending and mixology experience
- Experience in crowd management and security procedures
- Experience handling cash and using cash machines including cash registers, interac and credit card
- Serving it Right certificate
- FoodSafe certificate
- Basic First Aid certificate
- Ability to submit a satisfactory criminal record check
Responsibilities
- Perform bartending in all Cowichan Lake Recreation facilities
