About The Position

Join the prestigious Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC), a year-round private club with Island and City Clubhouses in Toronto, offering outstanding service across Sailing, Food & Beverage, Fitness, and Sports facilities. As a Bartender, you’ll play an integral role in delivering a premium beverage service to Members and guests across lounges, restaurants, banquets, and Club events. Your ability to mix excellent drinks, offer professional service, and maintain a clean and organized bar will help create memorable experiences at RCYC. WHY JOIN RCYC? Requirements

  • Valid Smart Serve Certification (required).
  • Previous bartending experience (minimum 2 year preferred).
  • Knowledge of wine varietals and proper wine service techniques.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Private Clubs experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to Members, guests, and service staff.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of beverage menus, wines, and daily specials.
  • Set up and clean bar areas before and after service,always ensuring readiness.
  • Provide table service and counter service as needed.
  • Support lounge and banquet bar operations, including weddings, regattas, and private events.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial liquor legislation and the Club’s Zero Tolerance Alcohol Policy.
