About The Position

The Casino Porter at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees. The role involves cleaning and maintaining gaming floors and public areas to support the venue’s guest experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proactively identify unsafe conditions, including spills, wet areas, and debris, and address them quickly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of prior relevant general cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep floors and remove wrappers, broken glass, ashtrays, and other debris.
• Vacuum assigned stations, moving chairs and objects to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Clean and dust slot machines, including the spaces between machines, doors, and woodwork.
• Remove scuff marks and drink spills.
• Clean biohazard areas as required.
• Clean slot chairs, polish their bases, and return chairs to their proper positions.
• Remove trash, replace missing ashtrays, and clean ashtrays and trash cans.
