About The Position

The Casino Housekeeper provides cleaning services in assigned casino areas, including public areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the casino complex. The role involves using cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment according to manufacturer instructions, maintaining safe work areas and equipment, and promptly reporting hazards or broken equipment to management. The housekeeper interacts professionally and courteously with guests and employees, helps create a fun atmosphere for guests, and promotes mutual respect, dignity, and integrity among employees.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and related documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from employees or guests.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, handling objects and controls, reaching, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
• Must successfully complete screening for essential job functions.
• Requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three to six months of housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned public casino areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the casino complex on a continual basis.
• Use cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Maintain work areas and ensure environmental services equipment is free of safety violations.
• Report hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to management.
• Follow established safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.
• Interact with guests and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Help create an atmosphere of fun for casino guests.
• Promote mutual respect, dignity, and integrity among employees by setting positive examples.
