About The Position

The Casino Housekeeper provides cleaning services in assigned casino areas, including public areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the casino complex. The role requires using cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment according to manufacturer instructions; maintaining safe work areas and equipment; and promptly reporting hazards or broken equipment to management. The housekeeper follows established safety precautions and interacts professionally and courteously with guests and fellow employees.

The position also promotes a fun atmosphere for casino guests and encourages mutual respect, dignity, and integrity among employees by setting a positive example. A Level 4 Gaming License is required. A high school diploma or GED and three to six months of housekeeping experience are preferred. Applicants must successfully complete screening for essential job functions.

Requirements

• A Level 4 Gaming License is required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and related documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from employees or guests.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common-sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
• Must successfully complete screening for essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).
• Three to six months of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned public casino areas, restrooms, and offices throughout the casino complex on a continual basis.
• Use cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Maintain work areas and ensure environmental services equipment is free of safety violations.
• Immediately report hazardous conditions or broken equipment to management.
• Comply with established safety precautions when using equipment and supplies.
• Interact with guests and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Promote a fun atmosphere for casino guests.
• Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity among employees by setting positive examples.
