About The Position

The Casino Custodian performs essential cleaning and maintenance duties primarily on the casino floor, where the role involves exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. The position uses a variety of cleaning equipment, including heavy-duty floor scrubbers, vacuums, and extractors, and requires the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds. The custodian follows company cleaning and safety guidelines, including procedures for handling biohazardous spills, and may assist guests by answering questions and providing directions.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of general work experience or a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, window washing, restroom and office cleaning, and trash removal.
• Sanitize and disinfect the exterior of gaming machines, chairs, tables, doors, and other high-touch areas.
• Follow company guidelines for cleaning and properly disposing of biohazardous spills.
• Maintain a high standard of excellence in cleaning and detailing all work areas.
• Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions on the property.
• Clean outside areas as required and perform duties on special cleaning projects.
• Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
