About The Position

The Casino Custodian cleans and maintains public areas such as hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms. The position also delivers and retrieves guest-room items, stocks linen supplies, maintains assigned areas, handles property cleanup that may include bio-chemical material, and helps ensure the proper care of equipment and supplies. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 or 21, depending on the property.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be able to stand and walk for extended periods for the majority of the shift.
• Be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of cleaning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Deliver and retrieve rollaway beds, irons, ironing boards, and other items for guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and pick up and remove trash and debris.
• Clean up the property, including bio-chemical material.
• Stock linen supplies in linen closets and load and unload linen carts.
• Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
