About The Position

The Cashier processes guest orders and payments accurately, bags orders, and supports an efficient checkout experience. The role includes maintaining a clean work area, following carryout practices, and providing friendly service while working collaboratively with team members. The position is described as part-time (PT).

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 15 lbs. constantly.
Ability to read and understand information and directions.
Demonstrated successful use of math skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Effective communication and guest service skills.
Ability to retrieve and push shopping carts.
Ability to bend and lift to load guest orders into cars.

Responsibilities

Accurately process guest orders to ensure proper recording of sales.
Handle money and other tender accurately to ensure proper accounting of transactions.
Bag guest orders and place them in carts or hand them to guests, following Floco Foods carryout practices.
Work well with team members to support the community.
Continually maintain a clean work area.
Direct guests into checkout lanes to maintain guest flow and meet the standard of no more than two guests waiting at one lane.
Maintain cash controls and procedures to eliminate shrink.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
