About The Position
The Sales Assistant provides basic point-of-sale customer and inventory assistance for a retail or sales operation of the university (e.g., customer service, cashiering, cleaning, displaying, stocking merchandise on the retail floor). This position in Nutrition Services is responsible for cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services purchases through the Seasons Cafeteria.
Requirements
- Six months experience (600 hrs. coursework) in customer service, preferably in a sales/retail environment.
- Six months experience (600 hrs coursework) in record keeping.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides basic point-of-sale customer and inventory assistance for a retail or sales operation of the university.
- Performs customer service, cashiering, cleaning, displaying, and stocking merchandise on the retail floor.
- Handles cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services purchases through the Seasons Cafeteria.
