About The Position

At Goodwill, store team members help turn donated items into new beginnings by supporting job training, education, and employment programs in the community. The Cashier provides customer service at the register, helps maintain and stock the sales floor, supports donation operations, and contributes to a clean and safe shopping environment. The role is full-time and starts at $15 per hour, with annual raises and production bonuses. No experience is needed; training and skill-building opportunities are provided.

• Able to follow instructions, handle physical tasks, and work in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Able to stand, talk, listen, use hands, reach, walk, pull, and occasionally bend and stoop; regularly lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the register by ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers.
• Stock and organize the sales floor by moving clothing from the backroom, merchandising clothing by type and color, and keeping racks tidy and rotated.
• Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment, including dressing rooms and work areas.
• Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
• Support donation door operations and perform sorting and hanger tasks as needed.
• Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
