About The Position

Earth Fare Cashiers help customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions, meeting shopping needs, and providing a welcoming experience. In support of Earth Fare’s mission of helping people live healthy lives, Cashiers help customers select trusted healthy food and products for wellbeing and the household. The role manages customer flow and transactions, collaborates with colleagues across departments, and maintains a clean, attractive front-end area.

Requirements

• Customer service experience or previous cash-handling experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Must be able to stand and remain on one's feet during the workday.

• Customer service experience.
• Previous cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer flow by providing quick, efficient, and accurate transactions in a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with team members and managers across departments so customers receive answers and service.
• Maintain a clean and attractive front-end environment, including the cashier station and surrounding merchandising and service areas.
