About The Position

Green + The Grain is a contemporary, local, fast casual salad chain looking for a friendly, hard-working Cashier to join their front of house team. The Cashier will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a positive experience, entering orders, processing payments, and helping manage online and delivery pickups. They will also help maintain cleanliness, support teammates, and represent the Green + The Grain brand with enthusiasm and care. The restaurant is opening in Downtown Denver in March 2026 and is a contemporary restaurant for busy appetites, where unmatched service, quality, flavor, and freshness elevate the salad experience.

Requirements

Previous experience as a cashier, host, or customer service role is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Positive, team first attitude and dependable work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs if needed
Willingness to learn and take direction
Must be punctual and reliable

Knowledge of Square POS is a benefit

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system
Process transactions (credit + mobile payments) and issue receipts
Assist with mobile and third-party order pickups (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)
Restock front of house items (napkins, utensils, beverages, retail extensions, etc.)
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and counter space
Communicate clearly with service team to ensure smooth order flow
Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally, with support from a manager
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
