About The Position

The Cashier position is responsible for ensuring the front office is in order, handling customer inquiries, processing transactions, and performing various administrative tasks to support store operations. This role requires open availability, including weekends, and involves direct customer interaction and financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Ensure the front office is organized and maintained.
Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries.
Handle accounts receivable problems and process check requests.
Perform manual posts and address minor customer service issues.
Manage tax-exempt paperwork, ensuring proper documentation, ticket notation, and record-keeping.
Balance credit card machines at the close of business.
Run store and special order totals at the close of business.
Add zip codes not present in STORIS.
Run D1 and F3 reports throughout the day to monitor sales and ensure tickets are paid by the deadline, adjusting unpaid tickets to 'estimated' after 9 pm.
Process discounts for promotional events and manage gift card tickets.
Review customer accounts receivable ledger inquiries to ensure accurate transactions.
Add any late delivery tickets.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
