About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a part-time Cashier, also described as a Customer Service Associate, to provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced convenience store. The cashier is the face of the store and helps keep it clean, stocked, and running smoothly. The position pays $15 per hour and offers flexible schedules, paid on-the-job training, and career growth opportunities. Benefits eligibility is limited to full-time employees.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours.
Able to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and climb ladders.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Basic math and computer skills.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide exceptional service.
Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid card transactions.
Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, inside and outside.
Operate and maintain food and beverage machines, including coffee, fountain drinks, and hot food equipment.
Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
Follow safety and loss-prevention procedures.
Assist customers with the pump, car wash, or air hose as needed.
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
Follow laws governing age-restricted sales, including alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales.
Complete required training and shift duties.
