About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-oriented Cashier who is fluent in English and Chinese. The role assists customers with purchases, processes payments accurately, and provides excellent service to English- and Chinese-speaking customers. The shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the pay rate is $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese, as required).
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Process cash, credit card, debit card, and other electronic payments.
• Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle customer inquiries and assist with product information.
• Communicate effectively with customers in both English and Chinese.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and presentable checkout area.
• Balance the cash drawer and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with stocking merchandise and other duties as assigned.
• Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures.
